Israel serang lapangan terbang Gaza

BAITULMAQDIS: Pesawat Israel menyerang sebuah lapangan terbang yang tidak digunakan di selatan Gaza malam kelmarin, mencederakan 11 orang, dua daripadanya parah, kata pegawai perubatan Palestin dan saksi.

Empat peluru berpandu mengenai tapak itu, kata saksi. Mangsa yang cedera berada dalam lingkungan kawasan lapangan terbang, berhampiran bandar Rafah.

Satu kenyataan tentera Israel menggambarkan sasaran sebagai ‘tapak pengganas’ dan juruterbang mengesahkan serangan berkenaan. Pihak berkuasa Hamas pula memberitahu, pesawat Israel melepaskan lima peluru berpandu di lapangan terbang itu dan terowong sempadan berhampiran, mencederakan sekurang-kurangnya 12 orang.
Tentera Israel mengesahkan serangan kelmarin, mengatakan mereka menyasarkan aktiviti militan sebagai maklum balas terhadap serangan roket dari Gaza.

Ia adalah malam kedua Israel melancarkan serangan sejak satu roket dilepaskan dari Semenanjung Gaza mengorbankan seorang pekerja di ladang wilayah negara Yahudi itu, Khamis lalu. – AFP/AP
